Crappy video, crappy singing, one powerful meaning.

There are two ways to appreciate this video though: being a JavaScript developer, or knowing the story between me and Elizabeth.

You see, the other day, we (Elizabeth and I) were sharing a sentimental moment. It was really sweet, embraced in each others arms, staring longingly into each others eyes. I’m gazing in awe at her beautiful brown eyes when I decide to say, “You know, I just thought of something really off the wall.”

“What’s that?” she asked, probably expecting a very sweet, romantic phrase.

“Periodical Ajax Updates,” I said.

She pushed me away, the moment was ruined. I am a brilliant person. Seriously, I’m really brilliant. But yeah, I tried to connect it to the moment the best I could to save myself but all that ended up was a humorous story to share.

As for the video/song itself, I really don’t much care for either. I could have done a lot better, but with school and work, it’s difficult to get anything good done. I spent maybe an hour on the video portion, so I think it sucks. Not enough shot variety, not enough acting skill, etc etc etc. It just sucks, in my opinion, but I uploaded for the pure enjoyment of the lyrics and the situational irony.

I’ve been reading a lot up on JavaScript lately, that’s why my mind is so focused on that. Heh.
